Today, March 2, it's 15 years since Serge passed away. To commemorate that, a tribute cd was recently released, and of course several blogs have posted songs.
On March 10, dj's Pierre Elitaire and Louis Katorz are hosting a Soirée Gainsbourg @ Antwerp club Petrol. Unfortunately the Gainsbourg-tribute in New York, that I would attend, has been cancelled :-(

I can't hardly wait for the Gainsbourg tribute to come out next week - i imagine it will be delayed here in the US and frightfully expensive.
More details about Jane Birkin's upcoming English language album (dropping 20 mar) are availiable on her website - i got an email announcemnt today. I'm a bit skeptical - maybe too many cooks in the kitchen like her last effort - although Gonzales is doing the orchestral arrangements and he is very saavy.
